WELCOME TO THE MIDLANDS AUSTIN 7 CLUB

Our club is a member of the Austin Seven Clubs Association and has a history going back over 50 years. It was founded by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, with membership open to anyone interested in or owning a Pre War Austin 7. Ownership of a vehicle is not necessary but is encouraged. Indeed membership is a distinct advantage in finding, evaluating and maintaining a vehicle. Fellow enthusiasts can help and advise on all aspects of care, restoration, and spares location.

Membership entitles you to a regular newsletter and also a quarterly issue of The Austin Seven Clubs Association magazine delivered to your door or via Email. Membership has many advantages. You can obtain by far the best value for insurance and we are approved by the DVLA to assist you via the V765 scheme to reunite your vehicle with its original index mark. We can also assist you to obtain an appropriate age-related number.

Socially, we get together at many local static rallies and we organise various runs such as the Cotwold Run in April and the Autumn Leaves run in October. We can be found at many local and some not-so-local events; members have travelled to France and Ireland and to the Dutch Pre-War Austin 7 Club Molentocht rally in the Netherlands. Many members have completed the Austins to Brighton Run organised by the London Club and a number have completed JOGLE runs.

The Club providee stands at the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show with Discovery and at the Practical Classics Classic Car Restoration Show whilst our active regalia and spares teams maintain supplies of excellent A7-related goods and spare parts.

The Membership Fee is £30.00 and is renewed annually in September.

We run several events during the year and as a group, we meet every last Tuesday of the month at Beoley Village Hall, Beoley Lane, Beoley, Redditch, B98 9AN where talks, skittles, bring and buy (spares) auction etc are just some of the events offered. The meetings start at about 8 pm.
